Value Bridge – Privacy Policy

Value Bridge, Lda., Rua do Alecrim 46, 1200-018 Lisboa (“Value Bridge,” “e,” “our”) operates value-bridge.co, its apps and related services (“Services”) and acts as data controller for the personal data described below.
We comply with: EU GDPR 2016/679 and Portuguese Law 58/2019 on data protection.Oversight by the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), Lisbon.
3. What data we collect and why
Contact details – name, email, telephone. Used to create your account, provide support and send necessary service messages. Identity and billing information – VAT number, postal address, masked payment-card details. Needed for invoicing, tax compliance and fraud prevention. User-generated content – files, posts, reviews or messages you upload. Stored to operate and display the Services. Technical and usage data – IP address, device type, browser information, error logs, cookie identifiers. Collected to secure the platform, measure performance and improve features. Marketing preferences – your opt-in or opt-out records for email, SMS or voice notifications. Enables us to send only the communications you have chosen. Legal bases under GDPR Article 6 are contract performance, legitimate interest, consent or legal obligation, depending on the specific item above.
Deliver and manage the Services you request. Process payments through PCI-DSS-compliant gateways (we store only the last four digits and expiry of your card). Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents. Send essential service emails such as receipts and password resets. Send marketing messages when you have explicitly consented; you can withdraw that consent at any time. Satisfy legal duties in areas like tax, accounting and consumer protection.
We share data only with service providers (hosting, email, analytics, payments) who process it under written GDPR contracts. If required, we disclose data to professional advisers or public authorities. When data moves outside the EEA—for example to US cloud infrastructure—we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism (GDPR arts. 45-46).

Account information is kept while the account is active and for two further years of inactivity. Tax and invoicing records must be stored for ten years, as required by Portuguese law (Decree-Law 28/2019). Marketing-consent records are held until you withdraw consent. Security logs and encrypted backups are stored for up to twelve months unless a longer period is needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
You may request at any time to: Access the personal data we hold about you.Correct inaccurate or incomplete information. Delete data when it is no longer necessary (“right to be forgotten”). Restrict or object to particular processing. Receive a portable copy of your data in CSV format. Withdraw consent without detriment to prior lawful processing. We send promotional emails, SMS or voice calls only after you opt in. To stop receiving them:

We protect data through TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, multi-factor authentication for staff access, regular penetration testing and continuous backups. No internet service is ever completely secure, so please keep your password confidential.
Our Services target business users. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
Write to us first at [email protected] and we will try to resolve your concern quickly. Consumers may then take unresolved issues to an approved Portuguese ADR body such as the Lisbon Consumer Arbitration Centre or submit via the EU ODR platform. Portuguese law governs this Policy, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon.
We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or business changes. We will post the updated version here and email registered users at least 15 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the revised policy.

We collect what you give us plus usage analytics, use it to run your account and send optional marketing, keep it inside the EU when we can, protect it with strong security, and honour your GDPR rights—including the right to say “no thanks” to marketing whenever you like.
